I know what it’s like to make myself smaller for the sake of belonging.
 

As a child, when my emotional needs were not met, I did everything I could to earn the attention of others.

This often looked like over-giving, people-pleasing, and swallowing my own emotions in an attempt to create love and peace around me.
 

This learned behavior followed me into adulthood. I repeated the same pattern in each new relationship, unconsciously searching for my “happily ever after.”

What I didn’t realize at the time was that I was still chasing the love and approval the little girl inside of me had been craving all along.
 

I ignored red flags while dating because my nervous system had been conditioned to believe that love doesn’t always come easily. Struggle felt familiar. Discomfort felt normal. And so, I stayed.
 

After years of disappointment and heartbreak, one final ignored red flag led me to a breaking point. It was there—at my lowest—that I was finally able to connect the dots and become ready to evolve.
 

In addition to traditional therapy, I worked with an energy healer to help me uncover the parts of myself that needed the most healing. During this "shadow work" I released energy that was still tied to painful and harmful experiences. In creating space for what my soul truly needed, clarity emerged.
 

I came to understand my life’s purpose: to help women who have been impacted by adverse and dark influences rise above them and reclaim their power—so they can lead, live, and thrive in alignment with who they truly are.
 

And so, Aura and Arrow was born.
